One of my favorite times of year is the fall season, and for three main reasons: colorful leaves, Halloween, and The Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). While I admit that I don’t observe the traditions that go along with the Catholic holiday, I do love the imagery that comes from it! The flowers, the sugar skulls, the beautifully dressed skeletons, and the alters laden with burning candles. It really is a beautiful celebration, and many people, like myself, choose to show their appreciation for it in ink. Here are some of the best Day of the Dead tattoos you’ll find anywhere.
